On April 20, 2024, four editors—Evelyn Somers (fiction; Missouri Review), Steven Espada (poetry, Copper Nickel, Sycamore Review), Xueyi Zhou (all genres; Witness), and Kim Dana Kupperman (essays; Best American Essays, Welcome Table Press) gathered online to talk about the process of submitting or nominating their work to periodical publications.
The event was moderated by Xueyi Zhou and hosted by the Black Mountain Institute, Witness magazine, and the University of Nevada Las Vegas Creative Writing Program.
